It explains the various back bones of LAN -ethernet ,token ring etc .Routing protocols are covered -IP ,ARP & RARP .AAL is explained ,so is ATM architecture ,ATM Signaling & traffic management .Emerging technologies like PNNI & IP over ATM are expalined .

Provides figures where required,presented in a simple & easy to learn manner.In short ,it helps you to learn ATM without much pain.
