5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, 3 Oct 2002
This is a truly awesome book that all developers should read. It discussed memory, memory and memory. It talks about how memory works, how processors use memory and thus leads us to understand why badly organized code can end up limiting the worlds fastest processors to the relatively slow speeds of the memory bus.

Absolutely essential reading for anyone interested in writing fast, efficient code.

Can't believe it's not in publication any more - grab a copy if you see one or complain to McGraw Hill!
