A solid book that covers the bases as they were. Sadly out of date now it needs to be revised to talk about the language of computers and the internet, rather than snail mail and the typewriter.

After two years of trying to break into the freelance market (with some success) I was given this book. One particular tip was instrumental in landing a $1000 commission for a 2500 word feature. Excellent advice in a readable format.
