I have just received 'The price of butcher's meat' by Reginald Hill, and am disgusted to find that this book is 'A cure for all diseases' (which I already have) re-published under a new title. This is not explained on the Amazon website, and I feel that I have wasted my money. If publishers will re-name books for different editions, this should always be made perfectly clear to buyers. I will certainly think twice before buying any further books from Amazon.

It's a great story and is everything you expect from a good Reggie and as such I should be giving it 5 stars. But it is just a US print of "A Cure for All Diseases", a book I already own and have read, being sold under a new name. But as two reviewers have now pointed out (but sadly not in time for me!) there is no mention on the Amazon site that this is a US version of a book already published here under the UK under a different title. What a disappointment! If you haven't read the original then this is a great book. Sadly for me it remains unread.

As the previous review my daughter bought it for me as a present thinking it was a NEW novel, upon reciept of it I found it to be the same as The Cure For All Diseases. What a disappointment.
