I purchased this book whilst in the US, and loved it the minute i started reading. Taking samples of short stories, poetry and letters, this book displays the different issues Asian females have to deal with when growing up in a Westernised world, and having an Eastern upbringing. Topics of appearance, identity, family, and such like are all covered in these pieces which are all written by individuals across the US. Great reading on something that i can relate to whole heartedly.
