Product Description

Product Description

This is the story of the most dangerous triple-agent in US history. Peter Lance, author of the highly acclaimed "1000 Years for Revenge and Cover Up", returns to uncover the story of Ali Mohamed, a trusted security advisor of Osama bin Laden who hoodwinked the United States for more than a decade. As Lance reveals for this first time, this one man served in a series of high-security position within the United States security establishment, as a Special Forces advisor, FBI informant, and CIA operative, while simultaneously helping orchestrate the al Qaeda campaign of terror that led to 9/11. In October 2000, after tricking three U.S. intelligence agencies for almost two decades, Ali Mohamed appeared in handcuffs and a blue prison jumpsuit in a Federal District courtroom on Manhattan's Lower East Side, where he pleaded guilty five times. His crimes included brokering terror summits, financing an attack on two Black Hawk helicopters, training jihadis in improvised bomb building and the creation of secret cells. And yet, for decades Mohamed had lived the life of a Silicon Valley computer executive. How did this evildoer move in and out of and around the U.S.? is just one of the questions answered. From the Able Danger scandal of the Clinton Administration to today's CIA Leakgate, Mohamed appears at nearly every crucial turn of America's terror probes. An important final piece to the 9/11 investigation, "Triple Cross" penetrates Mohamed's secret past and the dark reaches of Al Qaeda to reveal the danger that still threatens America and its internal security.

5.0 out of 5 stars A WTC attack must-read, 18 Jul 2009
A superb account of the terrorists who carried out the 9/11 attack and the deficiencies of the US security services. This is a fact-based account with good commenary based on well researched and annotated primary sources in the security services and documentation. Essential reading to understand how the two World Trade Centre attacks occurred.

2.0 out of 5 stars a narrow focus, 5 Feb 2008
this book concentrates on some but not all, of the intelligence failures before and during 9/11 and also is only one of two so far, that have mentioned ali mohammed (Sander Hicks is the other) However, the author doesnt question the official version of the events or considers some anomalies of that day which you will have to find by reading other books ie M.Ruppert's, or Sander Hicks to name but a few.
The author fails to anaylse why or how there could have been such failures of intelligence. It beggars belief that the catalogue of so many failures could have been explained by mere negligence. such an all too easy and convenient excuse! Also the author doesnt mention eye witness testimonies such as William Rodriguez, many firefighters, and Fellipe David that contradict the offical version of the events of 9/11.
Also there is no mention of the operation northwoods document whereby terrorist acts would be blamed on cuba as a pretext for war during the 1960's.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shocking deception and incompetence, 4 April 2007
By Martin Green "Truthseeker" (Yorkshire, England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book sheds light on the dark and unpleasant work of the American Dept of Justice and the FBI. The incredible research carried out by Lance over the 3 books in the series leaves one simply astounded and shocked. If the material in this text turns out to be factual and truthful we had better start worrying! The sheer audacity of members of the DoJ, FBI and other American agencies in following an agenda which has nothing to do with truth, justice and democracy is simply breathtaking. The book presents many, many facets of that deception, betrayal and downright lying that goes on, unreported, at the heart of the US Justice system. If you want to know the background to the emergence of an entity known as Al-qaeda, how many deep cover operatives remained free and protected for years, how KSM was involved with Ramzi Yousef and others in the jihadist movement, how TWA 800 actually met it's end, how Jamie Gorlick and Dietrich Snell (NY DoJ officials who prosecuted and released some senior Al-qaeda members) came to be key members of the 911 Commision i.e. investigating themselves! READ THIS BOOK NOW. It will open your eyes to the reality behind the fiction that is Al-qaeda and the ways in which US administarations have bent the rules and the truth for years to suit their selfish ends.
