The book features a wide range of kitchens, traditional and contemporary styles, with wonderful combinations of materials, all perfectly photographed. Unfortunately, almost without exception, these are in fact kitchens in very big spaces. If you want a source of inspiration to design a small(ish) kitchen area into your +200 sq m loft apartment or open plan living space this is definitely the book for you. If on the other hand you're trying to re-design your less than 10 sq m, L-shaped, low ceiling kitchen in a +100yr old terrace house, maximizing both storage and cooking facilities, then don't waste you money on this particular book. This book is beautifully put together but the title is spectacularly misleading.
