5.0 out of 5 stars Original!, 19 Sep 2002
By Simon (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Love That Dog (Paperback)
This book was the most original book I have ever read. It has an addictive storyline and an unclassifiable genre. Is it a diary, is it a novel, is it a poem? You decide! This book is a must read for anyone who wants to try something new and like nothing else on the market!

5.0 out of 5 stars Original and Moving, 2 Dec 2002
By W. P. Fleming "patrick4880" (England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Love That Dog (Paperback)
This is an excellent book - I bought it on a whim, and wondered if I did the right thing to start off with.

But this proved to be probably the most intelligent and original of children's books that I think I've ever read - (And, at last, something that doesn't rely on witches, wizards or on kids being horrible to each other!)

It has inspired even my 7 year son to become interested in poetry, which was a nice surprise.

Buy it - You won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't be fooled by the cover!, 9 Nov 2002
By Jo (Norfolk) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Love That Dog (Paperback)
Despite this book looking as if it's aimed at a young audience it is far more appropriate for older readers. This thought provoking and touching book is written in an unusual style and should be read by all teachers! Go on try it, it'll only take you 20 mins but will make a big impact. Once read you will want to spread the word.
