5.0 out of 5 stars This is such a wonderful book!!!, 3 Jun 1999
By A Customer
I am thirteen years old and although I read this book a while ago I still think it is one of the best kid's books out there. My mom also loved it. It is the humorous and sweet story of the young, innocent "Shirley Temple Wong" who is learning to adapt to strange America ways during the time when everyone loved the Dodgers and Jackie Robinson. Baseball helped Shirley fit in with her classmates. This is a book I would recommend to anyone with a heart.
