I enjoyed the book as a whole but before buying it prospective purchasers should know two things:

1. It's totally unauthorised and all the material comes from either existing press reports or from a relatively small number of very largely unknown people who knew Seinfeld from his early years

2. The coverage of Seinfeld - the TV Series is extremely sketchy indeed - there is no material from any of his co-stars. From memory, Michael Richards, for example, is only mentioned twice

The book is better written than many showbiz biographies but you end up with a slighty empty feeling that its all a bit pointless - you learn relatively little about Seinfeld the man - he's very focused, obsessive, businesslike and perhaps a little less likeable than you'd imagine, but thats about it.
