Jolly good show!

Serway again presents this concise guide in a readable and understandable format which is enough to interest any engineer, scientist or even a A level student wishing to further their knowlege of the subject or research into areas not covered by their course.

WELL DONE!

Mike Hewlett

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book I ever read, 5 Jan 2001
By A Customer
This is an excelente book, it really is. It covers all the subject I ever learn in 4 years of physics. The subject are exposed very, very clearly and it has lots of pictures which helps you to understand the matter as well as improving your interest in it. It has also thousands of exercises and applications os physics to the real world. I describe this book in two word : THE BEST

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book of this type, I've ever seen!, 2 Dec 1998
By A Customer
Well, what can I say - this book gives a smooth introduction too some rather hardcore subjects. If you can't understand the physics this way, you might as well transfer to the ballet school right away - 'cuz then physics is just not a subject for you!!! What I really wanna say is, that I'll recomend this book. ---- AND IT HAS A HOLE LOT OF PICTURES IN IT TOO !! ;-)

Best regards from Denmark, Simon Tjell.

4.0 out of 5 stars Physics presented in a manner not suitable for physicists
This is an excellent book if you are set to attain a superficial/intuitive knowledge of physics, like most engineering and medical/chemical courses. Read more
