I admit it. I'm a new-age aficionado. I've probably read more books on more new-age subjects - especially things psychic - than any other physical-state being on Earth. That's why I feel compelled to spread the good news about this amazing book. Though the word "idiots" adorns its cover, its content is decidedly skewed to the intelligent reader of "How-to" and "Guide-to" literature. Ms.Robinson's fresh, candid, down-to-earth approach to an historically vague and mysterious subject is so remarkable, it almost seems like the first readable book ever written on the subject. Take my word for it, the history is fascinating and inviting, the advice is supportive and commonsensical, and the exercises are easy and meaningful. All in all, "Being Psychic" is more than an exceptional book; it's a rewarding experience that can literally change your life. In case you haven't guessed yet, I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful book, and I congratulate Lynn A. Robinson, her co-author, and MacMillan Publishing for presenting it to the world. Thank you.

This book contains many easy-to-follow exercises to enhance your ESP, try all kinds of "paranormal" experiences (remote viewing, chanelling, aura reading, etc.) and find your purpose in life.

It gives an up-to-date and objective view of the "psychic" subject through different points-of-view (psychics, skepctics, physicists and others). Many historical facts and unsolved mysteries are also mentioned.

I, personally, have had some mild experiences since I've read the book (trance and synchronicities) and I really think that these are the stepping stones to the development of ALL OUR OTHER SENSES. The most important thing to keep in mind is practice, practice, practice.

I would have given it the "5 stars", had it been the book that woke me up on the subject and made me discover that there's more to our reality than meets the eye. Anyway, I think it accomplishes it's purpose wonderfully. Enjoy!

Over the last few years I have read 4 or 5 books on psychic training with limited success. I decided to buy this book after hearing it mentioned on a radio program and can truthfully say that it goes way past the limited scope of the other books I have read. To be honest, I have experienced MIRACLES since applying the excercises in this book and my life is changing for the better in so many ways. Suffice to say, I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone interested in the genre.

OUTSTANDING!
