From the Author

This book has something for everyone.
I hope you enjoy my book. I wrote it so that all the information about the world's favorite food would be in one place and easy to access. I studied pastry making and confectionery arts in Europe and have worked in world-class restaurants and hotels. For the past 18 years I have been teaching others my art and writing about pastry and confections in books and magazine articles. For years my students have been asking me for this chocolate information, so I thought there would be a lot of others who also want to know everything about chocolate. If you want to know more about the fascinating history of chocolate or how chocolate is made from the cacao bean, it's here. If you want to find out where to obtain the world's best chocolate or where to go to school to learn more about working with chocolate, it's also here. There are 25 fabulous chocolate recipes so you can easily fulfill your chocolate cravings while browsing these pages. Because the book is in paperback it's easy to take along on your next trip as an essential travel guide so you won't miss the best chocolate shop in town or the annual chocolate festival. It's a great gift book for your chocolate loving friends and family and a great gift for yourself!
