When I bought this book - I was gobsmacked by not only the honest approach but also the thoroughness of the research into the some 2000 products. If you want the best for your type but don't want to try out vast number of products until you find the right one - then this is the book for you. I finally feel with the help of BEauty Scoop I have found the right products for me and what's more they are not necessarily the most expensive or well-known ones. Thank you Julia & Kate . A treasure of a book.

There is so much information contained in such a small book, when first reading it, it is hard to believe there is so much included about all different aspects of beauty to include face care, body care and make up to mention just a few. Each section is dedicated to a certain aspect of beauty and you are able to read about application techniques, do's and don't's, as well as the best products which are not necessarily the most expensive on the market which is good, also they are tested by the public which makes the reviews more believeable. I have read the book several times and each time I learn something new about beauty.

great advice on buying beauty products. It will tell you how to look for the good products and ones that claim things that they just don't do. If you don't want to waste time looking/buying the wrong products, get this.

bad point: wish there were more sections!
