Synopsis
"The Listener Crossword" has appeared in "The Times" every Saturday since March 1991, having previously appeared in the eponymous magazine. The crossword is recognized as being one of the most fiendish around, requiring solvers to push beyond the boundaries of conventional solving skills. Each of the 60 examples chosen for inclusion in this volume has an added twist, be it a literary connection, deliberately misspelt definitions or a mathematical conundrum, which, through the complete solving of the crossword, leads to the actual solution.
