Product Description

This guide focuses on the top 100 ways to add value to your home: How to add ###s - the simplest and easiest way to add to the value of your home; how to add style - Ann Maurice's stylist solutions to make buyers really want to snap up your home; and how to add calm - alternative ways to make you feel happier about your home. Starting with "First Impressions", Ann Maurice then takes each room of the house in turn, and focuses on the top 10 tips for transforming the room. As always, she shows "before and after" examples from the programme to illustrate her point, and highlights the simple tricks which really can make a difference to each room.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not for dog lovers...!, 18 Jan 2002
By A Customer
A very enjoyable book for fans of the show. If you've seen all the programmes, then there's nothing really new in here, but still inspiring, none-the-less. Very interesting to see pictures of Ann's own house (currently desperately trying to copy her bedroom!!).

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as it could be, 5 July 2001
By A Customer
Actual copy is very informative, but the images and photographs are very disappointing. I want to be inspired by the images like I'm inspired by Ann Maurice

4.0 out of 5 stars House Doctor Quick Fixes, 3 May 2009
By Mrs. N. E. Wakefield "Home Decor8tor" (Louth, Lincs UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)

Found this book full of good value common sense ideas (typical House Doctor style) without costing an arm and a leg.

A couple of coats of neutral coloured emulsion, some brightly coloured cushions, a strategically placed vase of flowers or a bowl of fruit and your spring decorating is complete
