Interesting insights, 27 Aug 2007
It's an interesting look at health from a Chinese medical point of view. It examines the ways in which we cause our lives to become unbalanced and how we can try, as first steps, to change these things and become healthier.
While good, it does suffer from a usual problem of being written for an English market without really taking into account some English patterns and not pointing out how you can adapt for locally available products more than being reliant on Chinese Food. By giving this emphasis some people may think that they're eating healthier by eating Chinese Take-away which is not what the book recommends.
There needs to be more research done on the intersection between European traditional foods and better health, and how to adapt lifestyle and food to better choices, instead of trying to make everyone conform to a similar lifestyle.
This is a good first step, but it's a baby step.
