5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful and eclectic, 13 Nov 2002
By Vexen Crabtree (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Featuring prominent organisations and people across the wide spectrum of beliefs existing under the umbrella term of "Paganism" (ie: Wicca, neo Paganism, Druidism, Shamanism, and many more) the editors present a series of inspiring, knowledgable and informative essays on modern Paganism.

The opening essay is a detailed paper on the links between ancient religions and modern practices, it is both critical, hopeful and professional.

Although sometimes jargon-heavy (this book is a professional comparative religion study) it is an ideal introduction for those wanting a general introduction to the multiple aspects of Paganism and the issues it faces.
