This book is clearly aimed at people who are new to Paganism and are maybe a little nervous about being seen with a book on the subject! This book has a non-threatening cover and is full of lots of nice photos and pictures. Vivianne Crowley begins by explaining the basics of Paganism and there is a section encouraging you to think about whether Paganism is the belief system for you. Vivianne Crowley also talks about the major Pagan festivals and the different Gods/Goddesses. I think this book is aimed at people who know nothing about Paganism and it is an ideal introduction to the subject. People who do know the basics will probably find that this book does not contain anything that they don't already know.

This is a good little book, for those who want a brief overview of what paganism is and how some of us celebrate it.

The book discuses the meaning of paganism, mainstream celebrations and finishes with a useful pr�cis of some of the better known ancient pagan gods from around Europe and other places in the world.

If your interested but not sure about paganism, this is a good start, and one that will not cost you your years savings!

This book is proof again, that Thorsons have got it sorted and another welcome addition to their range of interesting, well-researched and varied collection.
