Anastasia's Chosen Career is my favourite book in the Anastasia series. This is because she has developed as a character and the humour in the book can subsequently be at its sharpest. Her outlook on life is familiar to anyone who has experienced early teenagers. H3er family is completely convincing, and their dialogue adds to the hilarity of the book. I recommend this book to everyone interested in humorous children's fiction. However, the books can be fully appreciated after the age of about eleven. A wonderful book.
