5.0 out of 5 stars The wonder of Narnia, 4 Oct 2000
By A Customer
I read this series when I was a small boy just discovering the wonder of books, it is one of the reasons why i still read books today. As such it has special meaning to me and I could not resist reviewing it. The story is about a group of children who discover a secret magical land where they can be heroes, accessable through a wardrobe. Some people may be a bit put off by the references to the religious undertones of these books, It would be a tragedy if some where put off reading these because of this. I for one was completely unaware of the christian undertones and just read it for the great story it is. The book has stood the test of time and to me is a classic. The one thing I regret is that I do not have children (so far!) to give books like this to, so if you do, don't miss the chance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantasy of another world providing hours of enjoyment, 1 Aug 1999
By A Customer
I read the first 6 of these books one after another and am saving the last one to enjoy this summer. I couldn't put these books down. The story transported me to another world along with the children who went through the wardrobe. The characters from Narnia take part in loads of different adventures. At the end of each book I couldn't wait to read the next and find out what happened next. I really recommend these books to anyone who likes fantasy adventure aged around 9 to 11.

5.0 out of 5 stars A classic set of books, which can be read time after time, 16 April 2001
By A Customer
I love the Chronicles of Narnia. I enjoyed the BBC video a lot and would recomend them to everyone. I then decided to read the books and found them equally as enjoyable. I have now read them many times and never get bored. A must for any reader!!
