I loved this book when I first read it at the same age as the heroine, and i still love it now 10 years later. There is something instantely recognisable about Anastasia, and for years I wanted her family for my own, as they are the coolest parents in fiction. However the packaging for this particular copy is a tad misleading in my opinion, all that Girl Who thinks for herself rubbish for a start, as if the rest of hummanity emplys robots to do their thinking, I can see they were aiming the book at the Sweet Valley High reader, but to be honest I think that type of girl would not appreciate the subtelty and humour in this book, it is much more suited to people who want their books to be a little different not just a rehash of the same tired old formula.
