3.0 out of 5 stars A good quality, general map useful for pre-route planning, 25 April 2000
If you are not familiar with the Lake District, this map will provide a good overall impression of walking in the area. It cannot be used for route navigation on the fells as there is not enough detail for this. However, I'm sure it is meant as a more general guide and other maps are available for specific routes, e.g. The Cumbria Way. In summary, this map is most useful for people not familiar with the area and want to learn more before tackling the fells.
