Product Description

Product Description

Today there is a great and growing interest in 'adult' animation, such as The Simpsons, South Park, Wallace & Gromit and Beavis & Butthead. For every two or three people who enjoy watching animated films there's at least one other who wants to know how it's done and how to do it. Many of those who enjoy cartoon drawing also want to know how to take their drawings a few steps further -- in other words, how to make them move. There are very few basic books on drawing animated cartoons around.

About the Author

Janet Nunn has worked in animation for 30 years and has been involved with TV series, feature films, and subjects as diverse as 'Heavy Metal' and Tom & Jerry. Graham Garside is a professional animator who worked for many years at Central Television as Senior Graphic Designer. He has also run his own studio.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top notch book of the basics!, 1 Mar 2001
By A Customer
A superb book fearturing all the basics which many courses (even degree level) don't always cover. It's well written, straightforward, and has many tips which help you follow the exercises cheaply (not all of us have a camcorder to spare!). Great for all ages!
