The book is a must for all parents who want to share the experience of helping their child to read and write. The book advises on the correct pronunciation of letters, has clear pictures which show you how to form the letters correctly and introduces the characters (each letter has it's own name and personality). My child loves the Letterland Characters and with the aid of this book I am able to share with her the very important first steps of learning to read and write in a fun and interesting way with confidence. Many schools use Letterland and if your school is one of them this book is essential for you.

For the price, I was expecting something with more pages. However, after sitting down and reading it does cover all of the aspects to helping your child learn the Letterland alphabet. Very useful for parents who want to take an active role in helping their child learn the basics.
