This volume is a celebration of bad writing - a journey into the lives of writers so wonderfully awful, they have unwittingly arrived at genius from the other direction. When Solyman Brown turned to poetry he obviously heeded the advice given to most authors to "write about what you know". Unfortunately, in Solyman's case, this meant teeth as he was the owner of a dental supply store.

this book had me laughing out loud on the bus. I was actually crying with laughter! well worth a look!

The author has taken a light hearted but irreverent look as some very bad writing indeed. Poems without rhyme, reason and quite often words that actually mean anything, abound. The ludicrousness (if there is such a word) and sheer absurdity comes across well and the author breaks up the verse/prose with a witty running commentary and small morsels of biography about these literary not-so-greats. A very amusing read.
