4.0 out of 5 stars Breaking up without cracking up, 8 Feb 2006
By A Customer
A short read from an older man who's views may appear out dated by modern standards. Personally, I liked his no-nonsense approach in recognising how marriages fail and how the deserted party can begin to rebuild their self esteem and dignity during such dreadful times. The author has helped me to understand how the partner who ends a marriage, particularly with children involved, will often attempt to allocate 100% of the blame to ease their own guilt when the truth will nearly always involve fault on both sides. In short, this book is a valuable insight from a man who has the experience to offer constructive advice.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not very helpful, 18 Sep 2000
By A Customer
This book is written more for the person who has been left, rather than being a non-judgemental book which would help everyone. It was rather old fashioned and personally I found little of any use in it. There are a number of much better books available.
