3.0 out of 5 stars easy read for those too stressed out to concentrate hard, 9 May 2000

Just the right book for those needing to get back into the reading habit, wonderful soap opera type happenings in a delightful setting. Loved her Rhanna series when getting over an illness some years ago and now using this series in the same way

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, 19 May 2004
By jashie (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: King's Croft (Paperback)
This book has a very good storyline. It is mainly about Cissie, growing up and understanding new things about herself. Her first love is Johnny whom loves her greatly since she was a child, and after he comes to live with her he wants her to come away with him, but there is another guy who likes her. I forgot his name but he is rich, and she knows him from when she was young also. The way this story is told is good, and I thought the ending was sad but also made it a good story. The only bad thing about this story is the uneeded visual detail, about some things. otherwise a very nice story.
