Book Description

Michael lives in New York city. It’s the year 2045, the internet is now a virtual reality. Cars drive themselves, cellphones are just a chip implanted in your ear and a visor implaled into the eye. There has never been a full fledged robot human robot, but Michael volunteers for the task. Jamakiso Samura works for apple robotics, and uploads a human brain into a robotic brain. Mike develops super strength, can remember everything he has ever experienced, solve the most baffling calculations and shows very little emotions. His powers become so immense he can easily hack into anything in the world. The government tries to destroy him, but will they succeed against the most powerful entity that’s ever lived?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! 26 Mar. 2014

This book was very out there and interesting. Interesting from the aspect of how far someone would go to create their vision no matter how twisted or unthinkable the outcome would be. This book is so far out there to the point of bringing robotics, humans, and also nature together as one. This gives an up close view to what is coming in the future and what the world will evolve into. This also gives us a look into how we will live, work and socialize in our day to day lives. It can also be viewed as insight into how far we have come due to technology.
This book lets you see the good of technology which is, things are easier, quicker and more convenient. On the flip side you see the bad of technology as it’s so accessible without the comfort, stability, security as well as our privacy being compromised.
The world is constantly changing and evolving which some changes are good and some bad. I would recommend everyone read The a First Robotic Human by Kris L. Woodall. Reading this book will give you insight on the good and bad of future technology.

5.0 out of 5 stars Syfy at its best!! 5 April 2014

The first robotic human by Nate Todd is a wonderful science fiction about how man and machine are the virtual future. The story takes place in the year 2045.Michael searches for a job. And when an evening of drinking turns into a nightmarish mash up, Frankenstein style, for the age, he finds himself half robot, and the robot side begins to take over .This well written book was quite a thrill to read. I enjoyed it very much and I would love to read more from this author. This book really made me start wondering exactly what the future may hold for everyone. They may not happen in my lifetime, but it sure is something to think about! This was a really great book!

Interesting concept and done well. Some interesting details of his wold. It could have used a bit more length so that some of the things that happened made more sense without having to have the exposition to explain them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Science Fiction at Its Best! 24 Mar. 2014

The book, "The First Robotic Human," by Nate Todd was an extraordinary story about how technology is so ingrained into humans' lives that reality is no longer a concrete concept. The story follows Michael, a recent college graduate in search of a job, but he is not having much luck. He comes across a strange, yet compelling wanted ad for "apple technologies." Soon after, Michael is thrown into a situation that he never ever dreamed possible. I really enjoyed how Todd took the often-used concept of a future overcome by technology and gives it a disturbing, yet fascinating twist. His writing style is easy to read and fast paced, never leaving you bored. I highly recommend this book to everyone. If you don't normally read sci-fi books, you should still give this one a try. You won't regret it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Futuristic Thriller 23 Mar. 2014

I would call this a futuristic thriller. Do you like future syfy? This book takes place in the year 2045 a time of high technology, photon drinks and Auto cabs. A recent college grad and currently unemployed Michael is looking for a job when He finds an ad for a job at Apple Robotics. It just wasn’t quite the job he thought it was. Michaels father is a nature lover and not into all the technology while Dr. Samura is ready to have a word full of robots. Author, Nate Todd doe an excellent job at keeping you guessing about what is going to happen next. If you are looking for a good book and like futuristic thriller, then I would say this s a book for you. I really enjoyed it.
