No, it doesn't have the fuzzy pages or sweet-smelling flowers of the original, so if you're looking for something exactly like that, you'll be unhappy with this book. But, it's actually a really sweet book, perfect for toddlers. Each page is interactive ("Paul and Judy help clean their room. Where should they put their blocks?" then your kid gets to point out the giant box for blocks), which is really great for toddlers/ early preschoolers. The whole thing is about how great it is to help out with chores and stuff, so to the extent that that lesson gets absorbed, there's a little extra bonus (still waiting for my almost-3-year-old to suddenly volunteer to set the table).
