The items don't weigh more but because you end up with the same mass of clothes in a smaller volume, the density has increased. You would get more clothes in your suitcase but it could end up very heavy. Hope that makes sense.

Unfortunately mine have all been used and vacuumed Christine but my best guess is 80cm long by 50cms wide.

hi Gillian, all bags are the same size actually, which is 84cm x 50cm

Need a standard round nozzle. Most vacuums have these as standard.

As best as I can measure 19 1/2 inches x 33inches approx. not big enough for a double quilt open end is the 19 1/2

Yes, I did, but as with first use, you need to carefully click in the whole length of the zip lock
