I've just got this laptop from Amazon. It is way better than I expected, quite fast and has a brilliant screen! its very bright and has perfect colors! The first thing that I did was a system speed test and I got better results than the average for its processor.
There are only two things that I am not happy with; keyboard and speaker. Keyboard doesnt give me the feeling that I wanted and the speaker is not stereo! yep there is only one speaker which made me sad :(
Anyway, for this price you would not be able to get a better one! I definitely recommend this laptop if you are looking for a cheap solution.
It was a very quick delivery as well.

I bought two of these computers for my young twins, their first computers! The machines arrived very swiftly and were easy to set up. So far they have been excellent, quick with great picture quality. I bought a couple of wireless mice, which I would recommend. Not everybody likes the Acer keyboard, but I find it just fine. The main downside for me is that it took me three months to find the port for SDHC cards!! I couldnt find any others computers with this specification for anything near the price. Highly recommended, particlarly for children. I have since bought one for my 86 year old father!

I am pretty sure this is a one in a thousand chance but on getting the laptop it was fine, but from turning it off and turning it back on its hard many hardware problems. I've re-installed windows and tried everything in my power to get it to work and it does not work (moments after booting up it will just freeze and the cursor goes invisible).
I will contact the manufacturer today and see what there view is on this issues but I'm kind of a teck geek and this is very disappointing.. I would think carefully before purchase! LOOK AROUND O and I have only had it for three days, thus my dismantlement
