Weight Measurement
A Weight scale is built into the instrument. Just select "Scale" display mode on the LCD and choose either grammes or ounces (accurate to 1/8th of an ounce).
Volume Measurement
Select either water, sugar, flour, milk or oil and desired measurement unit (ml, cup or fl. oz) and place ingredient into the transparent cup. Note: The volume measurement is converted from the weight and pre-set density of the ingredient by the microprocessor in the instrument.

This was just what I was looking for to make exact recipes and mixing ingredients together. These kitchen scales seem to be very accurate and great for building recipes of liquids and solids. I can add 5g of spice and it will register then I added 200ml of stock to the mixture all in the same jug which just makes things a little easier and less washing up. The lcd screen with ability to switch between imperial and metric is a great feature.

I needed a new kitchen scale, all the ones I looked at were to big,clumsy or bulky,but these are ideal,they stack inside another jug and tuck nicely inside the cupboard.easy to use.
