I hate to be the first person to write a negative review about a product, but I think it's deserving in this case.
The USB connector on this product simply doesn't fit into either of the two USB ports on my MacBook Pro, nor does it fit into the USB port on my Samsung Blu-ray player, even after pushing it harder than I perhaps should have. Comparing this product's USB connector to those on other devices I own reveals that the reason it doesn't fit is because it's too wide.
I don't know why no one else has reported this problem, but I've owned tens of other USB devices over the years and have never encountered another USB connector that doesn't fit in a standard USB port!

While being compact, this is far more robust than most. An added bonus is that the memory card is completely enclosed when not in PC's USB socket - ideal for rattling around on a keyring in the pocket.

A lot more solidly made than I expected for the price. Slotted in a 16Gb card and stuck it into my Mac Mini. Lion picked it up, as did Linux, XP and Server 2008 all running under VMWare Fusion.
So apparently wide compatibility. Speed seems subjectively decent - neither so slow or so fast that I can be bothered to benchmark it.
Pretty hard to justify dedicated USB thumbdrives at this price.

Avoid it
Very slow writing/reading and after two months it doesn't work anymore. Corrupted my microsd card. It would be very nice if it works cos is very small. Real shame!

Small and cheap
