Fuji Finepix L55 digital camera comes in a range of colours. The camera is compact, light it works well. The 12 mega pixels give less tphotoshan 900 on a 4GB SD card on a medium quality setting (there is 5 in total), whilst being set on fine (there is 2 options here - fine or normal).
The camera comes with a lithium battery, the same as in my mobile phone, but NO charger. The battery can be charged in the camera via the lead to a wall socket or via a USB port. As the camera is a basic model it is a little noisy in start up, when the camera comes alive, however, the beeping denoting function change is quieter than other cameras I have owned and can be turned of altogether.
A design fault with this camera is that the battery can be put in the wrong way and the case will still close - not good. Second design fault is that the SD card is difficult to get out because it is right next to the claps of the opening lid (which opens towards you and does not pivot at the end like most cameras). My CDR instruction manual would not open on my computer which is where the detailed instruction manual is, however, the camera, like most digital ones have very similar features and general the style of layout / menu buttons so it was not an issue and simple to set up. The camera does come with a basic start-up pictorial leaflet to get you going.
The camera works well, good high quality photos, however you have to be a bit careful when deleting an image, that you do not delete the entire file. You would have to press two buttons to do this, including OK, but it is worth putting on your glasses if you wear them! There is 7 button on the back which allows main 10 operations, the big circular one at the bottom has four functions and is used directionally within the menus. Easy to set up (time and date and picture quality, alongside PAL video files), turn on and go shoot.
Good quality basic digital camera with high pixels and a sweet zoom
