Book Description

Liam Scott is back in Afghanistan, this time with 4 Rifles. No longer the new guy, it’s his chance to prove himself and take the lead. But the warzone has changed dramatically, and so have the rules.

Working alongside the Afghan National Army, Liam and his new patrol face daily attacks from Taliban insurgents. But the real threat seems to be coming from within his unit.

It looks like there’s a traitor in their midst.

    More About the Author

Andy McNab joined the infantry as a boy soldier. In 1984 he was 'badged' as a member of 22 SAS Regiment and was involved in both covert and overt special operations worldwide.

During the Gulf War he commanded Bravo Two Zero, a patrol that, in the words of his commanding officer, 'will remain in regimental history for ever'. Awarded both the Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM) and Military Medal (MM) during his military career, McNab was the British Army's most highly decorated serving soldier when he finally left the SAS in February 1993. He wrote about his experiences in three books: the phenomenal bestseller Bravo Two Zero, Immediate Action and Seven Troop.

He is the author of the bestselling Nick Stone thrillers. Besides his writing work, he lectures to security and intelligence agencies in both the USA and UK. He is a patron of the Help for Heroes campaign.

4.0 out of 5 stars thoroughly enjoyed this 5 Aug. 2014
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
While waiting for the new Nick Stone I thought if get stuck into these 2 new recruit books and I've done them both in a few days on holiday by the pool. Couldn't put them down !
I like how he's developing a new character and we've been with him from the beginning literally. The only thing I found disappointing was the length of the books. I'm not sure if they're short or not as I use the ipad kindle app and 400 odd pages sounds like a lot but I blitzed them. Hopefully it's because it was such a good read I just spanked it out straight away :-)
I have a feeling that we'll be meeting Zaman (think that's his name) again in future books so I'm excited to see how these stories pan out. I'm off to Amazon right now to download another Andy Mcnab book.

Im pretty gutted now I've finished mcnabs books featured in afghan and basic training as the others (ie nick stone collection) hes wrote doesn't really interest me..
Aside from the book itself, speedy delivery and packaged great!
