There are cheaper USB hubs out there. For example TeckNet USB 2.0 4 Port Hub - Black and LUPO USB 2.0 4 Port Hub are a quarter of the price, but look at them - they're so boring!

If you're going to have something plugged into your PC then it may as well be the funkiest looking thing out there and these robot USB hubs are certainly eye-catching.

When these aren't in use they don't have to be hidden away in your laptop bag or desk drawers, they are crying out to be displayed and they do look lovely. The red robot is the best looking one by far and has a great retro charm about it. It looks like a clockwork toy and has movable arms and legs. The USB ports are situated in the feet and hands and the a connector cable connects the robot to the USB port on your computer.

In a nutshell: Not the most cost effective solution if you want a 4-port USB hub, but it is the most fun! Doubles up as a great desk ornament.
