Band Du Lac - One Night Only [DVD]
It's the same concert with an another title and a minimal better picture quality.
Anyway: great concert, great music.

3.0 out of 5 stars Glyndbourne for rock brokers, 5 July 2010

Picture quality is good but not brilliant. I found the whole concert boring apart from when Eric stepped in to play and his class lifted the concert. Willie and the Hand Jive should however be left to Cliff and the Shads, (see their version on DVD). Shame he wasn't on longer though along with his sidesman and "artist in his own right" the wonderful Andy Fairweather Low. Best artist in show in my view. This DVD was partly the Strat pack re-visted with the "not even the best drummer in the Beatles," to quote John Lennon, making a clown of himself. "What would you do if I sang out of tune?" You were out of tune Ringo.I never knew Roger Taylor could sing and he has every right to do so but Queen songs? Whiter Shade of Pale was wheeled out again by the great Gary Brooker, sigh.... Don't get me wrong I like the artists featured and have been a fan of EC, AFL and Paul Carrack for years and Dave Bronze the urbane Low Rider on bass and ok so it is for "charidy" but there was nothing inspiring enough to make me recommend this as something new and exciting. Musicians with nothing to prove proving they have nothing to prove. As for the audience well, words fail me. T in the Park or Glastonbury it was not where there is "atmosphere" in the audience.
