Extremely poor quality product all round.

Extremely poor quality product all round.

Note: Ordered with two other frequently bought items which were delivered at different times. Costing me three times the delivery. But that’s my fault so just be aware.

1. The screen is soft which can be pressed inward and the left hand side edge of the screen is proud of the main body.
2. The edges at the top and bottom of the main body are sharp and uncomfortable to hold.
3. The power button slides about half a millimeter so it feels like it doesn’t operate correctly.
4. The buttons sound very clicky when pressed.
5. I had to refocus my eyes when looking at the interface as it is blurry. It reminded me very much like the very first digital watches.
6. When charging, it continuously turns its self on and off.
7. Very embarrassed when all the above was pointed out to me by the recipient.
8. Not worth the hassle of a return delivery charge.

well worth the money mp3

I first purchased this as i was looking for a reasonable prices mp3 that i could listen to music and also the radio as i often go jogging i didnt want something that was gonna be too expensive nor something i would worry about getting damaged! so i was looking for something stylish and cheap!
However cheap is not how i would describe this, yes it is low cost but its a excellent little item to have;
It is so easy to download music on to - the easiest i have found so far!
It looks great - most people cant tell its not an actual ipod!
It charges up really quickly, not only from computer but, with the handy adapter, from any socket!

I liked this item so much when i accidently dropped it in my cup of tea - i needed a replacement, so i came back and ordered another one! (the original one is actually working again after some drying out which shows how robust it is, and my niece is now happily enjoying that one).
The instructions that came with it were not the best but it is so easy to use i figured it out really quickly!
I have been in touch with the seller and they were extremly helpful and nice! And in the future if i need another replacement - because i am careless etc, i will definatly purchase another form here!

Its 110 quid cheaper than an Ipod....BUT

OK, I've had a number of Sansa Clips that I've ruined in various ways so I decided to buy a cheap mp3 for use in the gym. The one I got was silver with an ipod like connector and headphones. Basically its rubbish but I guess that's what you get for a tenner.
1 - the sound is actually pretty good if you use proper earphones - the ones supplied are rubbish
2 - the build is pretty robust - the circular centre doesn't rotate, they are buttons which you click
3 - the buttons are ridiculously clunky to use (I mean awful) - even for a tenner!
4 - forget the instructions - they are worthless
5 - power button has to be on when charging.. otherwise it won't charge
6 - power button has to be on when transferring files.. otherwise they don't show up
7 - screen is rubbish
8 - you navigate the screen by pressing right arrow to go down, left to go up
9 - middle button does the sound only, not select
10 - home button is the select button
11 - play music by selecting 'music' at the home menu and then clicking 'home' button again multiple times to select a folder
12 - there's no attributes of any kind to the folders, they are by title only
13 - sometimes the songs transfer in sequence... other times they don't
14 - 'repeat' has to be set at 'normal' otherwise you just play the selected song over and over
15 - 'replay' has to be selected sufficient times so that the icon very top left doesn't show.. otherwise it just plays the same songs over
16 - press right button to advance a song, left to go back, press and hold to ffw/reverse (very slowly)
17 - there's a function called 'tempo rate' to change the speed of playback (????)
18 - once a song is finally selected you seem to have to press the bottom button to make it play..Read more ›

Absolutely awful - looks good, but is torture to use

The BEST thing about this is that it looks good when it's turned OFF.

And it would; they've copied Apple's iPod Nano...

1. Except, instead of being metal, it's plastic. [No big deal - I mean, who cares, right? Read on...]
2. It takes 7 seconds to boot up (turn on) -🎬 video proof attached.
3. The circular input thing does NOT work - NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO SCROLL (for volume adjustment, or for navigating menus...On an iPod you can just move your finger along the circle to quickly do stuff..)
4. The centre button does NOT work to select - nothing happens when you press it (but it's still designed to click like a button).
5. The screen is wobbly; it is soft and easily pressed inwards.
6. The edges at the top and bottom of the main body are sharp and uncomfortable to hold.
7. It freezes and randomly reboots... every couple of minutes!
8. Once a song is selected you press the bottom button to make it play - sometimes once, sometimes twice. Sometimes, it just reboots.

The whole thing is very obviously a Chinese knockoff, through and through. Do not gift this to anyone unless you want them to hate you. As soon as you try and USE it, it's very obvious what crap this is.

This is capable of playing music - technically - but it is EXCRUCIATING.

🎵 It comes preloaded with Aqua's Barbie Girl. I can ascertain that it is in theory capable of outputting sound to headphones (although adjusting volume is either not possible, or not easy as you have to go through several layers of menus..)

This item is total garbage. The other reviewers are lying or stupid - no offence.

Don't waste your money - it's NOT EVEN worth £10... cheap as that is. It's maddening to try and use.Read more ›
