I've always been a fan of Barracudas... I actually don't think I've had a single one fail on me ever.

This drive was their latest revision at the time and it is living up to its predecessors' reputation. Very quiet, suitably fast and surprisingly thin (always helps with air flow in a case). I've only had it running for a month or so but I shouldn't imagine reliability will be an issue - traditionally these drives have been manufactured to a very high standard.

I should mention that this drive actually has a 16MB cache (check on the Seagate site). The title is confused because the larger capacity drives in the series have a 32MB cache. Don't let this put you off purchasing. Anything over ~8MB has minimal impact on performance and most operating systems have their own caching protocols built in. As such 16MB is more than adequate.

*Update 30/08/2010*

It would seem Seagate have revised this drive with an 8MB cache (again, check seagate website to confirm). As such, the review above may no longer be valid (my drive definitely has a 16MB cache).

Nice slim HDD, excellent for everyday domestic use, fast, reliable and QUIET! My PC starts and runs probably 25-50% faster on some occasions! Great replacement drive if your old one struggles.
