This is a very cushioned, light weight running shoe for the serious athletes out there.DuraSponge - A blown AHAR rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot for an increase in your running performance. SPEVA - Proprietary midsole material that improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. Trusstic - A molded component which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. Forefoot GEL - The silicone-based, GEL cushioning system in the forefoot reduces the loading forces that would normally be applied as the foot moves into propulsion. This reuduces shear forces and along with flex grooves, enchances propulsion. Rearfoot GEL - The ASICS GEL cushioning system is a key component in meeting the needs of athletes, both recreational and professional. The GEL cushioning system,in conjunction with the midsole material, absorbs the impact forces of running. Solyte - Proprietary cushioning material that provides an exceptionally lightweight midsole with excellent bounce-back and durability taking the starin off your back and legs when taking off and landing.AHAR - ASICS High Abrasion Resistance rubber is a tough compound used at the heavy contact areas of the outsole.
