Sent Via city link in its own packaging with no outer amazon packaging.

The item was small and well packed in the box.

The Hi Fi unit its self is small and very light, ideal for a deep book shelf. The speakers are very small and finished well. Not much bigger than a few hard back books.

The sound quality is good for an item priced as it is and i would go so far as to say its probably just as good as some more expensive units available. There are separate bass and treble controls but this removes the use of the pre-set equalizer settings. However the pre-sets are not set to my tastes so i have selected to use the bass and treble controls over these. I have also turned on the surround sound setting to enhance the listening experience.

My last Hi Fi cost three times as much as this little gem and it holds its own against it.

I do have one criticism however, the DAB reception is not as good as my last HI FI and some of the stations are not available that i could get before, this is where the "Pure" DAB tuners win time and again over others. So if you want this for DAB make sure you have great reception before you buy one of these HI FI units.

The Usb port is great and you can view MP3 Data on the screen, scroll through play lists etc. The Usb Is located on the front left corner and access is ok as it points out at forty-five degrees. The Music port is next to the headphone socket on the top of the unit very easy to access.

Something to add to my review, Having been in use a while now i have realized that there is a very heavy reliance on the Remote control. There is no stop button on the actual player its self for instance this and other functions are only accessed via the remote so could limit use of the unit if the remote is lost or like so many other remote controls stops working after a time.

This micro Hifi DAB radio system is excellent.
The build quality and sound quality is superb.
It is front loading.
Arrived before the delivery date.
But I do have one critism.
I required a micro system to sit on a narrow shelf in my kitchen,I had not allowed enough room for the arial cable and power cable that exit from the back of the unit.
They do require alot of room, please allow 2 inches for the cables that exit the rear of the system.

Having searched around for value and a good Brand name this bit of kit is wonderful, it was bought for one of our grandaughters and is the envy of all and introduced her to DAB which is pretty dam good. Well done Panasonic you have a winner hear from my point of view. The level of sound and clarity from CD/Radio is worthy of a much more expensive unit with all the addtional functions like USB as well.
