I bought this disk because it contains a performance of the rarely recorded Second Suite for Orchestra - a splendid, memorable piece which deserves far greater exposure. The bonus is an additional couple of tracks containing earlier, longer versions of two of the movements. The remaining items have been recorded often and the whole adds up to a splendid disk, beautifully recorded and performed. The notes are excellent.
