Marvellous gadget, really works to make home treatment easy - the lights & sound pinpoint when you are on an acupuncture point. Bought to treat my migraines but have also been using for stiff back & neck, (after too much hard work in the garden). I have also used the pen on someone who is possibly suffering from psychosis, (although I have another theory personally), but as I wouldn't be able to get him to a clinic, I treat him when he says I can, (before he changes his mind), on points to calm the mind and it really does help him to get some peace. I did a lot of research before attempting this.

I bought the pen elsewhere but bought "Color Atlas of Acupuncture" published by Thieme from Amazon and it is understandable, (just), by the layperson. Can't recommend the two together enough as it is so convenient, (no appointment necessary - we can't all get to see a professional just when we need it), and far cheaper. I would still go to a professional again, as they can do moxibustion, (which I wouldn't attempt), and have the experience, plus needling is done at different depths so probably more benefit from that, but this is great for interim use or if the patient can't/won't go to see a professional.
