This little beasty only found its way out of its box yesterday so I haven't fully explored the deleights this projector has to offer, but first impressions do count - so:

Well, the first thing that you notice, is that this unit is really quite large - and heavy. More so than you would think looking at the pictures, or reading the weights & dims from the spec, so think carefully about where you have space to home this. Add to this that the lens shift is very effective, but only offers limited image offset. There is no keystone correction, so the projector need to sit square on to the screen.

That's the "bad" bit over and done with - now for the good. The picture quality is awesome. Pin-sharp, no chicken wire effect, no rainbow effect, great colour rendition - all straight out of the box. The unit is whisper quiet, you really do not hear it at all, although it does get reasonably warm. The zoom is plenty to handle most situations, the lens shift is effective, although slightly limited.

So why only 4 stars? I'm probably being mean, but it would be nice if the unit was 1/2 the size, with twice the lens shift - but then, that's my fault for wanting to place it in a corner of a room!

In short though - a great projector - very pleased. Looking forward to getting it properly set up.
