Manufacturer's Description
Feeling rebellious?
Rebel just doesn't play tracks from the radio, it records them as well. It then lets you transfer these tracks onto your iPod or mobile phone. Which means (drumroll please) uptodate digital music that doesn't cost you a penny.
Just when you thought the days of listening to FM radio are a thing of the past, Rebel gives you a reason to keep the stations fresh in your mind. Tuned into any FM station, Rebel automatically records up to 40 music tracks and saves them as MP3 files, cleverly stripping them of DJ chat and adverts. You can then download tracks onto your iPod, MP3 or mobile phone for free of charge digital music, without even switching on a computer.
Using patented popcatcher technology, Rebel can record the music at zero volume, letting you go away and do your thing knowing that Rebel is busy storing your favourite chat-free songs. . Where songs are repeated, an optimal version will be saved and it will all be free from DJ chatter, ads and news. We see it as a hassle-free way to keep your music updated all the time, with the added bonus that it's free.
Recording is not restricted to FM radio; there is a line-in jack to hook up to DAB digital or Internet radio. Accessing the recorded music couldn't be simple, no need for an internet connection or PC, just download from the USB port directly onto your iPod or via the SD card slot for your mobile phone or MP3 and then chose the tracks you want to keep.
