Handy little machine this Dirt Devil, very powerful for such a small vacuum cleaner. Being light and portable its great for doing stairs, no hefty bulky cleaner worrying that half way up the stairs the whole unit will go crashing down because its too big to sit on a step and too heavy to hold. Just sling the Dirt Devil strap across a shoulder and away you go. Well worth having one and cheap at the price. PS useful in the car too, the wife loves it so much, I no longer have to vacuum the car, does a fantastic job everywhere and no bag to change meaning more power from the motor. Highly recommended.

Purchased 1 month ago. Fantastic, powerful bit of kit. Does exactly what it says on the box. Great for pet owners with wooden floors and the lead is long enough to do my 3 half sets of stairs without unplugging. Gets very warm during use but hasn't overheated. Large bits of toy stuffing (my dog killing her toys) are best lifted by hand, and large areas of pet haired carpet are best tackled with a conventional cleaner. The Dirt Devil is light enough that my kids can quickly get the pet hair off the stairs, get the soot from around the woodburner and the needles from under the Xmas tree all before Granny arrives! Worth every penny.

Very pleased with this product. Powerful, easy to use. Gets rid of all dog's hair, making it ideal for use in car, caravan, etc. Delivery very prompt.

This is a powerful handheld vacuum but it does sound like a jet engine and in a house with a 7 month old baby it's too noisey to use whether the baby is asleep or awake.
