Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

John is indeed luckless. Everything he ever started turned out to be a major disaster. Until one day a distant relative dies, and the only heir of his profitable casino is â€" of course â€" John. Is he going to be lucky this time? Already thinking about the money that is supposed to pour in, already thinking about spending all his future riches, suddenly reality strikes back at John - again. The Mob wants to get their hands on John’s Casino. Being already responsible for the death of the former owner, John’s appearance makes them very unhappy. It looks like John is in big trouble. At this point, the player takes control of this beautifully designed graphic adventure and has to make sure that John will lose his nick name, or die trying.

1.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating, 12 Jan 2009

Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
I very rarely, if ever, find a point and click adventure so infuriating that I stop playing about 30 minutes in. Unfortunately this is such a game. While the graphics are very nice, very lucas art-esque, the controls are so frustating and impossible to use in one of the (many) real time segments. Think of the worst bits of the movement controls in broken sword 3 (which I finished) magnified one thousand times, and repeated over and over again until you lose the will to live. As a great fan of GTA et al on the PC, I normally have no problem with real time controls, but here I have simply given up. 99p plus postage, and it was still too expensive, and a waste of time. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!! Buy dark fall, Barrow Hill, any light house interactive adventure, any broken sword, a zork game, Beyond good and evil, ANY pc game, but not this one!

Don't say you weren't warned.
