This enclosure has an One Touch Backup button which works with the included PCCLONE EX Lite software for easy and fast backup of your data. (System backup is not supported by this included version of software, and the software does not work with Windows VISTA)

This is the most Junk Purchase I've ever had from Amazon. The HDD enclsoure doesn't promise what it does. Lots of problems getting the power to connect at times.

And worst of all it doesn't support NTFS. I wonder which Brain Dead Person at Allcam built this.

Being an Amazon Patron, I am extremely dis-satisifed and angered at this Product being sold by Amazon. Shame on you Allcam. I sincerely don't recommend this to any one. My suffering with this should be an eye-opener to all future prospective buyers.

I bought this item looking for a cheap case for a 400GB SATA drive I had lying around. This drive case is really poorly designed. The SATA cable is about 3 inches long and is so short and inflexible that it is virtually impossible to manipulate into the SATA connection on the drive.

The actual case itself is reasonably well made but this design fault makes it pretty much unusable. In the process of trying to connect the cable to my drive, I ended up snapping the connector on the drive. I seriously recommend that you spend a little bit more and buy an ICY Box (I wish i had).

I bought this hard drive enclosure about 3 months ago (to my delight, I recieved the glossy black version), and everything operated just like it said on the box. The enclosure looks pretty good, with a glossy black finish. The edges are rounded and smooth. The general operation was in my opinion; fantastic. I would have rated this product a 5*.

Today however, I have had trouble getting it to work at all. The power light turns on, and it looks like the enclosure will work. However, there wasn't any actuall power supplied to the hard drive or the fan inside it.

After several attempts to find the cause of the problem, it turns out that it was the power cable. The power lead with the 4pin adapter that plugs into the allcam Hdd Enclosure was faulty.

I shall try to find an alternative power supply, or buy a new enclosure alltogether.

Without this fault, the enclosure would have been perfect.
