I needed to extend my system, I have a couple of Hozelock "pods", and needed to go round to the front of the house.

By buying this cheap kit (you get what you pay), I get a much longer pipe, and possibly more junctions than I know what to do with, I can do it for a fraction of the cost than the Hozelock equivalent.

As other people have mentioned in their reviews, there is a pressure issue, and I switched the cheap black/red droppers that water the plants with the Hozelock black/grey ones which are better pressure regulators, and it is now watering the plants evenly.

So if you are starting anew, get the more expensive Hozelock kit first, and use this kit to extend it cheaply and do not use the black/red end points.

I have it connected up to a large water butt on a timer and it does what it is supposed to.
I like other reviewers went on to buy a second set because I found there was plenty of pipe but not enough nozzles.
I use it to cut down on watering rather than do the whole job.
My other set was a different brand but they look like they were made at the same factory and work together perfectly.
I am hoping it will keep my plants alive while I am on holiday but I intend to attach it to the mains tap for that job as I have worked out that the water butt will run out before I get back.

Bought this principally to cope with one to two week vacations on those rare sunny days. Quite fiddly to setup, (need to warm each hose end in hot water to fit onto a nozzle), and unless your pots are all neatly arranged, planning the layout can be quite time consuming. Water pressure variation isn't too bad, even though some pots are much further from others, but I had to design a 'tree' shape, repeatedly branching the cable, to achieve this.
Treat this as an experiment, rather than something that is guaranteed effective, and you won't be too dissapointed.
